Planetary Archangels
The Path of the Wise
Planetary wisdom is necessary to align with the flow of the cosmos and foster wellness.
It is thought that the original source of planetary wisdom is the Sefer Raziel, The Book of the Angel Raziel. This Book of Angels’ secrets was given to Adam after the Fall. It reveals the names of the 7 Angels who God placed in charge of managing the energies of the 7 planets. There exist several variations of the 7 names list. These are the names and the order I follow, Sunday to Saturday: Michael, Gabriel, Camael, Raphael, Saquiel, Anael and Cassiel.
A brief daily 7 Planetary Archangel mindfulness practice improves the flow of wellness and good fortune. For example, on Mondays, bring to mind that the Day is ruled by the Moon and think of the positive and the negative qualities of the Moon and the opportunities and challenges this day may present. Invoke Archangel Gabriel and visualize his presence.
Planetary wisdom is also the key for timing actions to foster the most favorable results. For example, if one is planning to distill perfume from roses, the perfume will gain virtue if distilled on the Day of Venus, Friday and invoking Archangel Anael and imagining that he is around during the operation; the more fortunate day for legal documents, contracts or court, is Thursday, Day of Jupiter ruled by Archangel Sachiel, but if another day is appointed, invoke both, the Archangel of the Day and the Archangel of Legal Affairs.
To get to know yourself better, explore your Archangel Birth Registry: The Planetary Day Archangel; the Planetary Archangel of the Hour of Birth; the Sun Sign Planetary Archangel; the Sun Sign Elemental Archangel; the Moon Sign Planetary Archangel.
The Planets at the time of birth affect positively and negatively a person through life and the 7 Archangels assist those who request their help to navigate the pros and the cons of their astral condition. For instance, if you are a Leo, your Zodiac Patron is St. Michael and he can assist you to handle the pros and the cons of been charismatic; if you were born on a Monday, the Day of the Moon, your Planetary Day Archangel is Gabriel and he can assist you to connect with your unconscious and to profit from your gut feelings and dreams.
In the past only the wealthy could hire an astrologer to do the necessary calculations to obtain the names of the Archangels that were present at their birth. Now, it takes 3 minutes using the free calculator https://www.lunarium.co.uk/ . I have used it thousands of times and if you enter the data correctly, this calculator is reliable. Note that if you were born after midnight but before sunrise you need to adjust the date. For instance, if you were born February 14 before sunrise, enter February 13.
I have created 7 Planetary Charms and 7Angels word Imagos (visualization/mental images) to facilitate the basics of this ancient practice.
7 Planetary Charms
These 7 planetary composite charms were made by merging time-tested elements taken from old masters of high reputation; therefore, they are good and reliable.
These planetary charms are used to improve the flow of daily life and to foster the positive results of any action. They are also effective as prophylactics and they filter the negative influence of planetary retrogrades and of challenging planetary alignments.
Charms only benefit those who use them. To contemplate them is also a way to use them.
To facilitate the use of these 7 charms to as many as possible, I published them here in a digital form; even if in this format they are not physical and you cannot wear them, they will foster planetary alignment every time that your eyes rest on them and call upon the Planetary Archangel by name. You can “carry” the charms in your cell phone.
This is important to know: The charm’s central figure is not an Archangel; it is a pictorial Imago of the Planet and it is akin to a calling card/an invitation, so that as we visualize the Planet’s persona in their most pleasant form, they present their most favorable aspect. I copied the Planets pictorial Imagos from the back of an ancient manuscript of the Picatrix (a book of talismanic magic compiled and translated by my ancestor King Alphonse the Wise in the XIII century). The presence of the Planetary Archangel is elicited by his name and his sigil, which I copied from Agrippa. Also from the Picatrix are the Ring Letters that I placed under the planet’s Imago. The Ring Letters, a mysterious Angel script, invoke the Planetary Angels (note that each planet has many Angels under the command of one ruler Archangel). I also copied from Agrippa the sigils of the planets to the left and the planetary Magic Numbers Squares to the right.
Note that color light visualization is an accessible component of energetic planetary alignment and so I present each charm’s background in the corresponding color. Do you need to stand up for yourself? Tuesday, Day of Warrior Mars, a favorable day to take action, wear something red and invoke Archangel Camael. But if you have to avert an attack in the moment, then no matter what day of the week, visualize red and replenish your courage with Archangel Camael’s Light.
To accompany each charm and visualize the corresponding Archangel, I have composed a Planetary Archangel Word Imago. All materials are subject to the fair copyright rules.

Activation of the Digital Charm
1. This abbreviated opening formula follows the proper cosmic order and it addresses first God, second the Archangel and third the Planetary Spirit. Say out loud:
Blessed are You, Almighty God, Emperor of the Universe who created the Angels, and placed these heavenly spirits of great sanctity at the service of man. In your Holy Name, Lord of Hosts, I call Archangel ( name) to come down from where he dwells and stand by me (your name). In the name of Archangel (name), Spirit of (name of the planet) present yourself in your most benevolent form, increase my well-being and grant me (this and that).
2. Rest your eyes over the charm for a few moments.
3. Scroll down and take mental note of the brief planetary information.
4. Read out loud, slowly, the Planetary Archangel’s Word Imago. Pay attention to the implements that the Archangel is said to carry in the text. Close your eyes. Visualize a brilliant color light. Imagine that this color light takes the form of the Archangel on his role of ruler of the Planet as it is described in the word Imago. Your mental image should include the Archangel’s identification implements; for example imagine Gabriel with a white flower or a lantern or a mirror and imagine Raphael with a medicine vial, a walking staff, a fish, a child and a little dog.
